My name is Captain Mike Phillips. I am a USCG 50-ton Master Captain and US Powerboat certified Instructor. I have been navigating the waters of Charleston SC for 20 years and the waters of South Florida for the last two years. During this time, I have provided Charter services and transport services to many different customers and contracted by business owners to run and maintain their vessel’s. I am also very well versed in Marketing and Networking via social media.

I ran Automotive body Shops from 1993 to 2022 while doing Charters and transports on the weekends and evenings. October 1st  2022, I made the choice to retire from the Body Shop business and pursue a full-time career as a Boat Captain.

During the years of running Body Shops and dealing with such diverse situations, I have learned how to stay humble, grateful, and very professional. My goal is to help others in their journey at becoming a great Captain while also enjoying transporting, chartering, and brokering boats wherever I can be an assistance.

When I am not working on a boat I enjoy “working on a boat.” I love anything to do with animals and the outdoors. Nothing seems to please me more than to wake up in the mornings and see how many people I can help or make happy that day. It is very important for me to know I give every day the best I can.
